Mediterranean Diet - When Brand Meets People

Project website

objective

The MD.net project questions the currently neglected and undeveloped opportunities of the Mediterranean Diet (MD) concept. It works to bring greater value to products and companies in the agri-food sector through the brand and attributes of the Mediterranean Diet. MD.net includes reference institutions in the gastronomic sector from 9 countries of the European Mediterranean basin and faces the challenge of acting on the set of opportunities around the promotion of the Mediterranean Diet.

The main objective is to explore the opportunities offered by the Mediterranean Diet in relation to the concept promoted by the UNESCO Mediterranean Diet Convention, which combines traditional Mediterranean Diet values with innovative values and tools. Prodeca's work within the framework of the project is fundamentally focused on the field of communication: criteria, story and strategy on how we communicate more and better the Mediterranean Diet.
