Constituted on 1986, since its beginnings the activity of Prodeca has focused on offering the Catalan agri-food company the opportunity to go abroad and the necessity it has become today.

During this period, the commercial opening of the agri-food sector in Catalonia has been extraordinary (more than one 1,200% in the last 30 years), influenced by international factors, such as incorporation into the European Union, the global globalization process or the sector's capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship, but also by the presence of an organization such as Prodeca, unique of these characteristics in Spain.
