Prodeca
Prodeca is a public company under the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food (Regional Government of Catalonia). Its mission is to promote Catalan agri-food products and support the commercialisation and internationalisation of Catalan companies in the sector. Prodeca facilitates the participation of Catalan companies in leading national and international agri-food fairs, organises meetings with buyers and importers, offers programmes to support commercialisation and export initiation, develops and implements strategies for product positioning and the promotion of the Catalan agri-food brand, provides consultancy on diversification and commercial consolidation in third countries, prepares market and trend reports, and offers self-diagnosis tools and opportunity analysis for commercialisation and internationalisation, among other activities.
Prodeca works in coordination with professional associations, organisations, and stakeholders involved in agri-food promotion, commercialisation, and internationalisation. It also participates in initiatives related to Catalan gastronomy and the Mediterranean Diet, as tools to enhance the value and positioning of our products and companies, both in Catalonia and globally.
