PRODECA is a member of the Internal Alert System of the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya regarding regulatory violations and conduct contrary to public integrity (SIA).

The SIA is the mechanism of the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya that complies with the obligation to establish an internal information system, in accordance with the current regulatory framework regarding the protection of people reporting on regulatory violations and the fight against corruption.

This system allows any natural person who, in a work or professional context of the Administration of the Generalitat and/or Prodeca, as a member, can disclose conduct or facts about regulatory violations and conduct contrary to public integrity committed within the scope of the Administration of the Generalitat and/or Prodeca.

In other words, through the SIA they will be able to communicate:

  • Regulatory violations in the area of the administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya and its autonomous entities, committed by employees or senior public officials.
  • Violations of the Code of Conduct for senior officials and management staff of the administration and its public sector.
  • Other irregularities that are considered a malfunction of the administration or related entities.

Adherence to the SIA of the Generalitat de Catalunya guarantees:

  • The confidentiality of the data, both of the alerting persons and of the affected persons, as well as of the confidential management of the alerts.
  • The anonymity of the communication and the reservation of the identity of the alerting person, in case their identity is known.
  • Security, to prevent unauthorized access to the information managed by the system.
  • Impartiality in the management of alerts, ensuring fair and objective treatment.
  • Accessibility to allow the presentation of alerts through different channels.
  • And voluntariness, since the alerting person can choose between using an internal channel or an external channel.
