The last-minute agreement between the United Kingdom and the EU saves the Catalan agri-food sector €69.34 million in tariffs and it is predicted that Catalan food exports to the United Kingdom may increase by around 9% in 2021.

Gastroteca.cat launches a renewed brand image and a platform that optimizes its content with the aim of positioning itself as the great showcase for local Catalan products and those who produce, sell and cook them. 

The Diputació de Barcelona and Prodeca/DARP have signed an agreement for the promotion of the Earth Products Network and the local agri-food sector through the development, management and dissemination of the Gastroteca.cat portal.

Catalonia increases its agri-food exports by 16.42% in the 1st quarter of 2020. The agri-food sector is positioned as one of the engines to combat the economic effects of the pandemic. The surplus is maintained with a coverage rate of 108.47.
