The PATT programs more than 870 trainings to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and the technicalization of the sector
This 2021, the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food has approved the new one Annual Technology Transfer Plan (PATT), the program that integrates the set of sectoral training aimed at professionals in agri-food and the Catalan rural world. This year they have been planned more than 870 performances throughout the territory, from 40 different areas. The majority (710) are technical and management knowledge transfer activities, but there are also 160 of an eminently practical nature, involving experimentation, demonstration and research.
One of the features that define the PATT is the close collaboration between administrations (including Prodeca), research centres, universities, foundations, consortia, producer organizations, professional organizations, companies and other agents in the sector that make the different trainings possible.
The offer of performances covers topics specific to the more traditional productive sectors and transversal topics such as soil management and fertilization, irrigation, rural development, company management, ecological production, energy saving and alternative energies, the bioeconomy or the quality and commercialization of agri-food products, in addition to activities in the field of forestry and the natural environment.
