Gastronomy and Catalan Wines at Napa Valley Festival
The Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda - Prodeca and in coordination with the Catalan Tourism Agency and the Catalan Delegation in the United States organizes in California a promotion of Catalan companies specialized in fine food and wines.
This action is part of the United States Plan activities program promoted by the Generalitat of Catalonia through Prodeca and is part of objective 3 of the plan: increase the perceived value of Catalan food in this market by making companies and products visible and dynamizing Catalan companies present in the United States market.
At the Festival, which celebrates its 17th edition this year and is one of the main revitalizing events for the Californian wine community, Prodeca will have two spaces at the festival, the Patron's Lounge and the Taste of Napa of the festival where it will exhibit Catalan gastronomic elements and will do tastings to the professional audience.

Following the promotional event of Qualified Estate Wines conducted by Sommelier Lucas Payà held in New York and the Fine Food or multi-product workshop with the pastry chef Ursula XVII, formed in the workshops of Albert Adria and Oriol Balaguer and responsible for its own pastry line in the United States (DISSET CHOCOLATE NY), the action in Napa Valley seeks to promote companies currently established in the 8th growing Catalan export market in 28.5 in exports in 2022 and 536 million euros exported.
