In the current international context, Prodeca has initiated a round of agreements with international chains of retail to establish a product offering circuit and virtual meetings with Catalan companies. The deal round starts with LuLu Group, and will continue with other retail chains during 2021.

LuLu Group is a business conglomerate, based in Abu Dhabi (Arab Emirates), dedicated to food distribution, both wholesale, through its own distribution platforms, and retail, through the retail stores it has, as well as the development of shopping centers and hotels.

ORGANIZATION OF THE EVENT

Prodeca will send to buying heads of LuLu supermarkets the catalogs and promotional material of the participating Catalan companies, and a calendar of online meetings will be established according to the availability of each party.

The meetings will take place through a digital platform that Prodeca will make available. The platform will allow the material to be shared online. The meetings will last approximately 30 minutes.

If, once the date and time of the meeting has been agreed with the corresponding head of purchasing, the participating company does not show up, Prodeca does not undertake to arrange a new meeting date. If it is the buyer who has inconveniences, Prodeca will make the arrangements for a new meeting proposal.

The language in which the meetings will take place will be English. It is recommended that participating companies provide Prodeca with promotional materials and the product catalog in English.

If samples are required, Prodeca will facilitate the coordination of transport which, in any case, will be borne by the participating company. Samples will not be sent prior to the meetings.

PARTICIPATION PRICE

The participation price per company is €180 + 21% VAT

REGISTRATIONS AND DEADLINES

Companies interested in the eBUSINESS WITH LULU action must fill out the registration form and make the corresponding payment before October 27, 2020.

The company will be considered admitted once it has sent the duly completed application for participation and paid the participation amount.

Once admitted, if the company renounces its participation, it will lose 100% of what it has paid. Prodeca reserves the right to assess the reasons presented by the company to cancel its participation and return a percentage of the amount paid.

Prodeca reserves the right to admit companies based on suitability criteria. In the event that there are more than two companies in the same sector, which are in direct competition, Prodeca will establish a round of talks with them to jointly assess whether they can collaborate on the offer; in the event that there are no possibilities for collaboration, the criterion of order of registration and payment will be established for effective participation, and no more than two companies from the same sector will be admitted.

Once the registration has been completed, the participating companies will receive a file with all the information required in relation to the product and description of the company.
