Prodeca will present the Action Plan of the EUREGA project: "Àpats Catalunya" at the 18th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC 2020)

Prodeca, together with the other partners of the European project EUREGA: European Regions of Gastronomy building resilience and creating economic growth, organizes the round table "New support programs for Food & Gastronomy SMEs” as part of #EURegionsWeek 2020.

This event, open to everyone and in virtual format, is presented as a unique opportunity to publicize and discuss the Action Plans that each partner has drawn up as part of the project and that they will implement in their region in the next two years.

Prodeca will present "Àpats Catalunya", as one of the outstanding regional initiatives to promote local agri-food products through gastronomy, in institutional events at the national and international level, as well as increasing the percentage of local agri-food products in public procurement of food. A project with the aim of improving the representation of Catalan gastronomy and local products on the menus offered by catering companies. "Àpats Catalunya" offers practical tools aimed at the sector and that contribute to disseminating and promoting the richness of the Catalan gastronomic and agri-food heritage.

This round table will also be an open space to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by the strategy for the sector From Farm to Fork "from the farm to the table" recently adopted by Europe. There will be time to present support and marketing initiatives dedicated to SMEs in the agri-food and gastronomy sector.
