Catalonia's agri-food exports grew by 9.18% in value and 4.37% in volume between January and June 2020 compared to the same period last year, according to calculations based on provisional data from the Tax Agency

Catalonia increases its agri-food exports by 16.42% in the 1st quarter of 2020. The agri-food sector is positioned as one of the engines to combat the economic effects of the pandemic. The surplus is maintained with a coverage rate of 108.47.

The European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) has signed a statement in which it informs that there is no scientific evidence, until now, that food can be a way of transmission of the Coronavirus.
