Catalan Food Business Forum connects Catalan companies with international buyers

Business Forum, an international business platform

In total, Prodeca organized more than 3,500 B2B meetings in a pre-scheduled agenda based on the needs expressed by international buyers and the markets they are interested in entering through Catalan producers. In short 20-minute meetings, Catalan companies had the opportunity to present their commercial proposals and gauge buyers' interest.

The experience, according to the Catalan companies themselves, was very positive as it allowed them to initiate, in most cases, contacts with importers from markets where they had no previous presence or where they wanted to strengthen their position. Thus, these meetings served as an initial contact, where producers and buyers could establish mutual interest and open the door to future commercial relationships. The ultimate goal is for these contacts to turn into future orders and for Catalan products to shine around the world

The origins of Prodeca’s Catalan Food Business Forum lie in the sectoral meetings previously held independently in past editions. In this year’s event, Prodeca concentrated its efforts in a single time and space to maximize commercial results, generate business flows, and take advantage of synergies between buyers and sellers from different sectors and markets.
