After the success of the first gastronomic exhibition in Japan held last November, Prodeca - DACC is organizing a second gastronomic exhibition in the center of Tokyo as part of its marketing activities in the Asian market, with the aim of positioning Catalonia and the Catalan agri-food products present in the Japanese market.
Prodeca is a state-owned company under the Catalan Regional Ministry of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Regional Government of Catalonia. Prodeca provides support services in internationalisation and foreign trade to the agri-food sector in Catalonia.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT
The II gastronomic exhibition will be held on March 16th and 17th at the Daikanyama T Site, a complex coordinated by the prestigious chain of Tsutaya bookstores. The main space has a large bookstore and other adjacent buildings with restaurants and high-end shops, among which is the Garden Gallery, a space intended for the production of events.
More than 3,000 visitors are expected to attend during the two days of the exhibition, who will have the opportunity to taste Catalan wines and cavas, courses, etc. in the bar area, as well as buying Catalan products in the shop that will be opened.
The organization of the exhibition is planned with the presence of influencers for promotion on social networks, free drinks and tastings of our gastronomy will be offered and there will also be an experience area/tomato bread workshop, in charge of prestigious Catalan chef, Josep Barahona, who has lived in Japan for more than 30 years.
TO WHOM IT IS ADDRESSED
- Catalan companies that have representation and products present in the Japanese market can participate in this action, aimed at the final public.
To do so, we would appreciate it if you filled out the registration form, indicating which product you are selling in Japan and to which importer before next Friday, February 16th.
The organization of the event will contact the various importers and, once the logistical conditions have been agreed, will make a selection of the companies that will finally be able to participate, based on criteria of demand and product suitability.
COST OF PARTICIPATION
-
Prodeca is responsible for the costs of organizing this promotional activity and there are no costs for the participating companies.
Once the company is selected to participate, it will be one of the main Japanese importers who will buy the chosen products, so it is essential that the products are already in Japan.
