In 2020, Catalonia's food sector reached a new export record and exceeded €11,000 M in international sales for the first time. Compared to the data of 2019, they have increased by 6.62% in value and 6.95% in volume, becoming the only economic sector that grows in exports.

Prodeca has obtained 2.5 million euros to carry out a project of the AGRIP programPromotion of Agricultural Products for the promotion of cava and Catalan wines with Designation of Origin in the Chinese and American markets in the next 3 years. It is a promotional and informative program to publicize the wine of the participating regions with activities designed for each of the two markets.
