Gilbert & Gaillard awards gold to three Clos Montblanc wines

At the 2017 international competition organised by prestigious French wine guide Gilbert & Gaillard, Clos Montblanc winery won three gold medals and one silver. The awards were presented at the ProWein fair in Düsseldorf in March.
The wines that took gold were:
Clos Montblanc Masia les Comes 2012 (Cabernet Sauvignon 70% and Merlot 30%), which is organically produced at the winery and aged in barrels for 18-24 months.
Xipella 2015, (Macabeu 40% and Parellada 60%), with an intense fruity finish.
Clos Montblanc Castell Tempranillo 2015 (Tempranillo 85% and Cabernet Sauvignon 15%).
The silver medal winner was Clos Montblanc Castell 2015 (Macabeu/Chardonnay).
