Celler Masroig

Celler Masroig

With over 100 years' history, Celler Masroig upholds the essence and personality of its first day, bolstered by the knowledge and innovation of the present. The winery was founded in 1917 and is currently one of the benchmarks of the Montsant designation of origin, which is in the Priorat region.

Our mission is to make a good product without casting tradition aside, as well as to showcase the character that defines the product. We work on red clay with persistence and conviction to convey the values that underpin the personality of the winery. This land that is predominant on our estate influences the quality of the grape and effectively contributes to the ripening process.

Garnacha and Cariñena are the autochtonous varieties in our area. Although both are key players on our land, at Celler Masroig we see Cariñena as the foundation of our wines.

Vineyards and olive trees outline our landscape in layers formed by the characteristic dry stone terraces. The winemakers' work helps to maintain the beauty of a unique environment where wine and olive oil define its identity. These two millennial crops occupy some 500 hectares of our land.
